The pharmacy of the future is human-oriented and served by robots
A lot has happened in the pharmaceutical industry since pharmacists were making medicines in basements just a few decades ago. Today's pharmacy is automated and many of the manual procedures are already being simplified by digitalized processes. This means that simple medical services can be offered to patients, depending on state law.
Burglaries are no longer attractive
There is a high demand for drugs like Viagra and strong prescription painkillers. This makes it very attractive for criminals to break into pharmacies to obtain them for sale on the black market. Before the installation of the ApoStore dispensing machine, criminals somehow knew exactly where to find the specific drugs. But to the untrained eye, there is absolutely no logic to how the items are stored. Today, looking for a specific drug or medication would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. This is to be installed outside the pharmacy and will be particularly helpful for those who need to buy medicine outside of regular opening hours. This will also relieve the staff who already handle many daily customer transactions. In one of his other pharmacies, Jakob Tjelum has installed the ApoStore Cube+. The special thing about the Cube+ is that it offers high efficiency especially for smaller pharmacies with less space and many small customer inquiries.
