Since 2005, Arlett Düker has been running two pharmacies in Peine with great commitment: the Arminius and the Südstadt Apotheke. Thanks to her many years of experience, she knows how important order and good time management are. To get an overview for the evaluation of the inventory, all you need to do is look at the display of the A1000e or Cube+. At the touch of a button you can find all medications that are about to expire or need to be reordered. This means that manual lists and the long journeys for staff are a thing of the past. Another advantage: inventory is also much more efficient and faster.
More freedom for staff
Where previously there was hardly any space and people got in each other's way every time they moved something in the small pharmacies, the order picking systems have created more free space. “Our employees have now been given a great workplace where they can spend most of their day in the pharmacy with our customers in every comfort,” says Düker. From there, employees can devote themselves to warehousing and customer service in parallel without having to limit themselves to one activity.

“For home care, dispensing robot with the A1000e and the Cube+ is a real added value,” emphasises Düker. Supplying a nursing home usually involves a lot of effort for pharmacists. For example, packages often had to be searched for alphabetically and collected in storage areas with countless walking routes. “Now the machine simply stores the orders before we deliver them,” laughs Düker. This also reduces the error rate to almost zero, which was previously higher due to manual labeling and searching for packaging.
